Sushi Bowl

I love a good sushi bowl! This meal is so quick to whip together, especially if you have all the ingredients prepped and on hand. With over 25g of protein, and tons of nutrient dense veggies- this sushi bowl is sure to be in your weekly rotation!

Ingredients:

  • Canned Tuna (I like the brand Wild Planet)

  • Organic Basmati Rice (I cooked this the night before and so it was already ready in the fridge)

  • Mixture of vegetables (I have zucchini and onion)

  • Avocado

  • Mixed greens

  • Nori Sheets

  • Spices and condiments (Coconut Aminos, YellowBird Blue Agave Siracha, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and sesame seeds to garnish)

Method:

Drain tuna, then in a small bowl combine it with a dash of coconut aminos and hot sauce, and the spices listed above to taste. I prefer mine pretty spicy, so adjust coconut aminos and hot sauce to your preference!

I had these roasted veggies prepped, but all I did was air fry them for about 10 to 12 minutes, seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper, and a dash of avocado oil.

In a bowl/plate, I placed rice in the center, and then filled in the rest with my tuna, salad greens and avocado, veggies, and nori wraps. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy!
