Energy Bites

Energy bites! These protein packed little bites are my go-to snack that I always like to have on hand. Quick and easy they’re great for your pre-workout boost or when the mid-afternoon sweet tooth kicks in.

Ingredients-

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or nut butter of choice

  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts

  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds

  • 1 scoop protein powder of choice

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey

  • dash of salt, vanilla extract, cinnamon to taste

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional)

    Method-

    Begin by mixing together all dry ingredients into a bowl, then stir in wet ingredients until a dough-like mixture forms. Add in 1/3 cup chocolate chips if desired. Then form dough into balls and store in an air tight container in the fridge.
