Elevated Tuna Salad
Tuna Salad-
Quick and easy, this delicious tuna salad is a go to for me when I’m short on time but need a protein boost.
I love this recipe because you can change the spices and flavors to match your preferences!
Ingredients
1 Can sustainable wild caught albacore tuna (SafeCatch is my personal favorite)
1 bunch of cilantro
1 mini bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 red onion, finely chopped
1/2 an avocado
1 small spoonful / teaspoon of avocado mayo or unsweetened yogurt of choice
chili powder, salt, pepper, cayenne
1/2 of a lime, juiced
Drain tuna, then add to a bowl and shred with a fork. Add in all other ingredients and season to your taste.
My favorite way to serve this is as a dip with veggies and Siete Cassava chips, but you can also add to a salad, wrap, or top rice crackers and enjoy!
