Elevated Tuna Salad

Tuna Salad-

Quick and easy, this delicious tuna salad is a go to for me when I’m short on time but need a protein boost.

I love this recipe because you can change the spices and flavors to match your preferences!

Ingredients

  • 1 Can sustainable wild caught albacore tuna (SafeCatch is my personal favorite)

  • 1 bunch of cilantro

  • 1 mini bell pepper, finely chopped

  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/2 an avocado

  • 1 small spoonful / teaspoon of avocado mayo or unsweetened yogurt of choice

  • chili powder, salt, pepper, cayenne

  • 1/2 of a lime, juiced

Drain tuna, then add to a bowl and shred with a fork. Add in all other ingredients and season to your taste.

My favorite way to serve this is as a dip with veggies and Siete Cassava chips, but you can also add to a salad, wrap, or top rice crackers and enjoy!
