Supplements I Use & Why
With all the endless advertisements of vitamins and supplements to take, it’s easy to get confused and wonder what’s right for you.
I definitely recommend a food first approach. Strive to eat an abundance of nutrient dense foods and most of your needs will be taken care of, you can’t out supplement a poor diet, however, I do have a few supplements I find extremely helpful in bridging those gaps and making sure your main nutrient needs are getting met.
While I can’t say what you should or shouldn’t be taking as that varies and is so detailed person to person, I did want to share some of my staple, everyday supplements I recommend and love.
I can’t recommend Seed enough. So much of the health issues we see today all begin in the gut, which is why focusing in on gut health changes everything for people. Taking a quality probiotic/synbiotic like Seed helps support a healthy gut, which in turn supports digestion, immunity. cardiovascular health, and your body’s ability to absorb nutrients. After I started taking Seed I noticed the positive affects immediately and I’ve heard the same from so many people!
I was spending TOO much money on different multivitamins/daily vitamins trying to get all the different bases covered. I already eat a very clean and varied diet so I knew I was wasting time and money on purchasing different things from different companies. Then I discovered AG1. AG1 is a greens powder that is a powerhouse of nutrients and vitamins. It has everything you need to know your body is getting the support you need. Not only is it easy to transport and travel with, it also tastes amazing. I feel such an energy boost when I drink this in the morning and I can’t recommend it enough.
When you purchase AG1 they also send you a liquid D3 supplement that I take daily. It is so common for people to have insufficient vitamin D levels in their bodies, which can lead to feeling tired/fatigued and low immune system support. Taking a D3 supplement is so important, especially for those that work indoors or aren’t able to be in the sun very often.
Taking a magnesium supplement can benefit your health in SO many ways. A few notable ones are boosted exercise performance, stable blood sugar levels, boosts anti-inflammatory benefits, sleep support, bone health, and it can even help prevent migrains.
